Jake and I went to the doctor this morning and have set up an appointment to have labor induced on Thursday morning (May 22nd) at 6am. Yuck, is the sun even out at that time?
We also confirmed that Baby Hester is indeed a boy. We got a good ultrasound view of that important part of his anatomy.
I'll keep everyone posted.

haha!!! A due date! Who knows...maybe Baby Hester will surprise you and come even earlier than May 22nd. Caiden was so late they scheduled an inducement, but he came a few days before the date that was scheduled...you never know...
Hooray! Only three more days! And this way you're guaranteed your doctor, and an epidural (should you so choose).
i personally really liked being induced. i would be scared to go into labor by myself now since I was induced all three times.
I can't wait to meet Baby Hester for the first time. Have I mentioned how excited I am? : )
I'm glad to hear good stories about being induced. I was feeling kind of bad that baby Hester wasn't coming on his own. Thank you to everyone for making me feel better. :)
I just got back from our weekend in Bakersfield and I thought for sure I would be saying congrats. Baby Hester just knows how good he has it in there and sees no reason to rush the process. May 22nd is a great day to be born!
I have both been gone into labor on my own and been induced. To be honest, it seemed about the same to me (and that was unmedicated). They progressed the inducement slowly uping the dosage of Pitocin (I requested that they not tell me when they upped the amount, so that it would feel natural to me). The only thing I didn't like is that I had to be in bed most of the time, whereas that with Caiden I mostly walked around. I also had to be monitored with Kiya. All in all it was the same (at least to me) so no worries. :) You will do fine.
