I saw a praying mantis. It was sitting on top of a trashcan. I wish it was easier to see how small it was. It's a little baby and was maybe an inch long. Very cute.

Very cool. I can't remember seeing a praying mantis in the city before.
so cute! (if praying mantises can actually be cute. i suppose its baby-ness is what makes it so adorable.) and yeah, i don't think i've ever seen one in real life, let alone in the wild wild city.
