I was driving to the parking lot on campus when I saw this hawk sitting on a park bench. I stopped to watch him for awhile. It was cool to see him just hanging out.I hurried to my parking spot and was disappointed to see that he was gone when I walked back to the bench.
The birds were freaking out, so I looked in the trees and found him hanging out up there. The hawk was quite impressive.

He is beautiful. Steve and I saw one hanging out on a light post outside our hotel room in Ventura a month ago; we had the same reaction.
